摘要

At room temperature most of the Phytophthora species under investigation could be trapped by Rhododendron leaves within 8 days. The majority of Pythium spp. and Cylindrocladium scoparium, also infected the Rhododendron leaves. However symptoms caused by the Pythium isolates on the Rhododendron leaves differed from those of the Phytophthora species and appeared later in most cases. From root and soil samples taken from forest areas, from public green spaces and from nurseries, Phytophthora spp. could be trapped at room temperature with Rhododendron leaves within 2-14 days.
