The decision by BSkyB to revamp its electronic programme guide (EPG) has been generally welcomed by channel operators although there are several causes for concern, particularly on how the changes might impact the business of individual channels. BSkyB last week notified digital-satellite channels that it would change the listings system on Sky Digital from October to accommodate the growing demand for slots and the increasingly diverse range of channels on the platform.
