BT Vision is set to begin a second six-week marketing campaign designed to better educate prospective users about the hybrid digital-terrestrial and IPTV platform and the content that it offers. The service was first promoted on a national basis back in May to announce the telecommunication incumbent's official entry into the UK television market, following its "soft" launch at the end of last year (NMM December 8,2006). The company is now preparing a second marketing push, set to begin later this month, with greater emphasis on explaining the benefits of the service and its content. Vision Sports, its live and on-demand sports service, will launch later this month and form part of the upcoming marketing message. BT will offer 242 "near live" Premier League games alongside 46 live games, from next month, through Setanta Sports. The Irish broadcaster this week reduced the price of subscription to its digital-terrestrial service by £1 to £9.99. The cost on satellite came down to the same sum from £15.
