ICE members and a professional Lego accredited artist will join forces this autumn to create a huge bridge made entirely out of Lego bricks. This will to mark the opening of "Bridge Engineering" - a new exhibition space at ICE headquarters. The design and construction team hopes to break an official Guinness world record by building the longest bridge span in the world made entirely from interlocking plastic bricks. The rules state the bridge must be completely free standing without the aid of a reinforcing frame, glue or other supports.
