BioWin is the health competitiveness cluster of Wallonia, a region of Belgium located to the South of Brussels, the Capital of Europe. Created in July 2006, within the framework of a major regional socioeconomic programme, its ambition is to federate all stakeholders from Wallonia participating in innovation and training in the field of biotechnology and health. Its objectives are:rn1. to create a new culture of openness and partnership favorable to scientific excellence and innovation in Wallonia,rn2. to train, attract and retain a human capital of excellence in Wallonia,rn3. to help to establish the setting up of collective infrastructures and technological platforms,rn4. to promote the strengths of Wallonia internationally in the area of health biotechnology and medical technologies.
