Drug targets in Burkittlymphoma

Intensive chemotherapy can cure Burkitt's lymphoma, but its toxicity makes it unsuitable for more vulnerable patients. Roland Schmitz et al. identify mutations in the transcription factor TCF3 or its negative regulator ID3 in many sporadic Burkitt lymphomas, and suggests several drug targets, including PI(3) kinase and its downstream pathways.
