Network Enabled Operations (NEO) in the Swiss Armed Forces

In recent years the Swiss Armed Forces have carried out an in-depth investigation into the rble of Network-Centric-Warfare (NCW) in a modern army. Over the next eight years about one third of armament funds will be spent on C4I and ISTAR projects. The focus will be on the extensive procurement activities in connection with NEO (Network Enabled Operations).
