The chair of the WA Commission for OHS Tony Cooke has spoken out against the decision to harmonise the nation's workplace safety laws.rnHe described the current process as "an interesting and expensive exercise in social engineering by an ascendant federal bureaucracy" that was not taking OHS forward.rnTony Cooke said even if harmonisation was initially successful in imposing a uniform regulatory framework across the country, worse lied ahead.
