Replacement Wiper Motor Pulse Board Technical Tip -Why Won't the Wiper Blades Park?rnAfter replacing a wiper motor pulse board, have you ever found that the wipers won't park when you turn the engine off? This is a typical problem in many GMC, Chevy, Oldsmobile and Isuzu truck applications (CARDONE part numbers 40-158PB and 40-1030PB) that can be solved very easily!rnMost likely, the two contact arms on the pulse board are not making contact with the wiper motor. Since these arms are very flexible, they can move out of position during shipping or when you handle the unit. All you have to do is to check the position of the contact arms before installation. Contacts should be approximately 1 inch (25 mm) above the circuit board (see picture). This quick check will help ensure a problem-free replacement job.
