Buying sentiment held strong in the Capesize sector, with several sales in October. The "Shiga" (176,000dwt, bit 2006, Namura) was purchased by clients of Oceanbulk for regbn US$28.0m, with T/C attached. After various rumours on the price of the "Atlantic Bridge" (177,000dwt, bit 2005, Namura), she was reportedly sold for region US$27.5m,, with Cargill taking ownership after having had the vessel on charter at US$15,000/day until early 2015.
