Rates on the USG/Far East route edged even lower during May as owners struggled to fill their last remaining tanks. Again, the main grades were EDC, ethanol and methanol. There were attempts to ship PX and glycol for example, but US domestic prices were more attractive to sellers and those enquiries were withdrawn.
