LONDON (ICIS)--The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) on Friday warned buyers, sellers and traders of chemicals to make preparations for the UK to leave the EU without a trade deal with the bloc. With little clarity on the UK’s post-Brexit trading relationship with the EU as its 29 March departure date draws closer, the EU's chemicals regulator warned companies to act now to be sure of continued compliance with Reach regulations.

LONDON (ICIS)--Turkish polypropylene (PP) prices have firmed slightly on the low end but Middle East origin raffia prices have also fallen slightly on the high end. Supply and demand are mostly in balance. The cause for firming has been attributed to both improving demand and limited supply levels.
