BUCKET LIST RACER - RICH FOHL

After I competed in the SCCA Runoffs in my racing 4/4 at Road America, I thought I had completed my Racing Bucket List. Then I thought, well it would be great to race at Daytona on the 24 Hour course. It was announced soon thereafter that the SCCA Runoffs for 2015 would be held at... you guessed it .... Daytona! So, I prepared for, qualified for and completed my F production MX5 Miata race car...well all but a lap or two....at the SCCA Runoffs at Daytona in 2015. So NOW my Racing Bucket List is complete. Well.... In 2016,1 travelled to the UK, dropped one of my favourite UK Morgan Agents, Richard Thorne at Richard Thorne Classic Cars (RTCC) in Reading, UK.For years, I had lusted after a dual purpose Roadster created in 2005 for a "spec" class in the Morgan Challenge Series: Class R - for Roadster.... specifically the Roadster Lightweight. As I understand, there were only 41 Roadster Lightweights made from 2005-about 2011. With the introduction of the 3.7 L "Mustang" engine in 2011-2013, the racing version became the ARV6.
