College includes oldest roundhouse

Opened in September 2009, Derby College's new campus just outside Derby railway station incorporates the original North Midland Railway (NMR) locomotive roundhouse of 1839 together with the adjacent carriage shed. The Roundhouse name is now used for the whole area occupied by the college.
