GHOST OF GOOCH

摘要

Network rail unearthed some important pieces of railway heritage at Paddington recently whilst building new tracks for the Elizabeth Line (Crossrail) project. These included the remains of a very rare early turntable, which was steam-powered and built to accommodate Brunei's broad gauge tracks, and several important buildings thought to be engineering workshops used by Isambard Kingdom Brunei and his locomotive superintendent Daniel Gooch.
