A distribution organization on the East Coast of the U.S., operating from an airplane hangar, was looking for a way to improve its shipping, receiving, and repair operations. The distributor required better facility organization and better security within the confined space of the hangar. Existing open floor space, moreover, was insufficient to handle the complexity and variety of materials distributed.
