Our lead article this issue outlines the results of a survey of distributors and manufacturers about their opinions and (in many cases) experiences with selling through Amazon Business. We can report that, generally speaking, the distribution industry professionals who responded to our survey: 1 Are relatively unconcerned about Amazon Business as a competitive threat, 2 Are largely satisfied with their experience selling on the Amazon Business marketplace, 3 Believe they are getting good value from the relationship, 4 Overwhelmingly intend to continue to sell on the marketplace a year from now, 5 Report only a small degree of customer or SKU "cannibalization" from Amazon, and 6 Receive payment from the company for marketplace sales in 32 days, on average - fast for B2B distribution.
