摘要

Steady laminar flow between a porous rotating disc and a stationary naturally permeable disc is investigated. The whole flow field is studied with the solution of 'N-S' equations in the free fluid region (between two discs) and Darcy's equations in the porous region (inside the porous material). The slip condition suggested by Beavers and Joseph (1967) has been applied to the radial and transversal velocity components at the outer surface of the porous material. The radial and transverse velocity components are derived, discussed numerically and shown through graphs. The expressions of the torque and skin-friction coefficient at the discs and pressure coefficient are derived, discussed numerically and presented through graphs.
