摘要

Aim of the paper is to investigate the effects of oscillatory suction velocity and heat source on heat and mass transfer through a viscous incompressible, electrically conducting, fluid past an infinite moving vertical porous non-conducting plate bounded by porous medium of variable permeability. Uniform magnetic field is applied normal to the flow and the permeability of the porous medium fluctuates with time. Expressions of the velocity, temperature and concentration distributions are obtained using the regular perturbation technique. Expressions of skin-friction coefficient, Nusselt number and mass transfer coefficient at the plate are also derived, discussed numerically and their numerical values are presented through tables. Velocity, temperature and mass transfer distribution are discussed numerically and presented through graphs.
