That was the system that resulted from a merger between three model railroads: Allen McClelland's Virginian & Ohio, Steve Ring's Virginia Midland, and my Allegheny Midland. (Even though the AM no longer exists in my basement, the concept - not to mention a lot of diesels and rolling stock - is alive and well, especially in Allen's basement where he has included a section of the Midland Road on his new V&O layout - see the January Model Railroader.)
