Four plan to rejoin COSLA

A breakaway group of councils is poised to rejoin the Convention of Scottish Local Authorities (COSLA) after recent changes in political leadership. Four former Labour-led authorities - Glasgow, Aberdeen, Renfrewshire and South Lanarkshire - left COSLA following a dispute in 2015. The four could now return to COSLA, which would bring an end to the rival Scottish Local Government Partnership (SLGP).
