More than 3,000 staff from a company owned by Staffordshire CC are to be transferred to part of the Compass Group. The staff originally moved to Entrust, which is owned by Staffordshire CC and Capita, back in 2013. The joint venture was formed two years ago to handle the council's educational support services and around 4,000 staff workers, including dinner ladies, careers advisers and cleaners were transferred from the local authority to the new company as part of the original deal.
