CIV supremo appeals for collaboration

The man overseeing the launch of London Councils' collective investment vehicle (CIV) has made an appeal for pension fund managers to work with him. Some 80 or so fund managers currently work across the capital's boroughs but the CIV threatens to reduce their supply of work. The existing fund managers are likely to fight over the opportunity to manage up to £24bn of assets. London Councils' director of fair funding, performance and procurement, Hugh Grover, told The MJ: 'We've engaged with quite a few of the managers in different ways.
