Ministers back new plans to help troubled families

Ministers have given their backing to a roll-out of a troubled families-style approach to other services in response to the Service Transformation Challenge Panel report. The report, which launched in November, called for a new approach to working with people with complex needs, providing wrap-around services like the troubled families programme. It called for flexible long-term funding, better use of assets, information sharing, and better collaborative leadership.
