Counting the cost of interim solutions

I read the suggestion that successful interim placement was down to 'the odd phone call' (Recruitment and Retention, The MJ, 3 March) with some bemusement. Having been appointed to OGC's Buying Solutions and many other council frameworks as suppliers of interim managers, we can attest to the stringent procurement regulations required to provide senior interims, cost effectively, to the public sector.
