Only kazoo tops Camden's hit list

Diary has been waiting to hear a kazoo-led rendition of the Star Wars Imperial Death March since it can remember. And now, finally, Camden LBC has come up with a proposed policy that has prompted such a performance. The council has been consulting on plans to license buskers and no doubt some people would favour the need for kazoo players to get a licence. So kazoo may you ask is annoyed by this proposal? Well, it's certainly not been music to the ears of street entertainers, but comedian Bill Bailey and musician Billy Bragg have also banded together to protest. The stars recently joined campaigners in Camden High Street, where they led crowds in acoustic performances of their own songs, as well as a few kazoo classics.
