Stroud's loyalty bonus

Every household in the district of Stroud has received a free loyalty card, as part of a council campaign to shop locally. The cards were sent out this week with Stroud DCs regular newsletter to all 50,000 homes in the district. It was launched last year and more than 100 shops and firms have already signed up. The aim of the card is to encourage people to buy from local businesses,' said council leader, Cllr Geoff Wheeler. 'Already hundreds of people are using the cards and making savings.'
