A new approach to the way we learn

'We see the secondary school as the focal point for a given area providing for the integrated delivery of services to children and their families,' says executive director of education Maggie Allan. 'Our concern is the way in which young people perform and behave in schools. Other public services have an equal, and some times even more important, role to play in this. Their impact will affect the young people's levels of attainment.'
