Labour examines roll-out of place-based services

Labour's top local government leaders have launched their study into how their place-based services might be rolled out under a Labour government. The party's local government innovation taskforce, set up by its leader Ed Miliband, has called for evidence on how public services can be 'transformed around places rather than institutions and their structures'. The taskforce of six council leaders and one group leader, will publish its report in 2014 which will be submitted to Mr Miliband as part of Labour's policy review.
