PURPOSE: A refrigerator with a service button and a method for examining a product are provided to examine the product by separately attaching the service button to a PCB(Printed Circuit Board) and to resolve inconvenience of separately entering into a operation mode using a hidden key.;CONSTITUTION: A method for examining a product using a refrigerator with a service button comprises the following steps: deciding(S30) whether a service button is inputted or not and examining the product when the service button is inputted; deciding(S31) whether an internal temperature of multiple rooms is normal or not; driving(S32) a compressor when the room temperature is normal; stopping(S40) control of the room in which an error of an internal sensor is generated and driving the compressor; proceeding(S35) defrost operation; deciding(S36) whether a condition is a defrost release condition or not when defrost operation begins; and canceling(S38) the defrost operation in the defrost release condition and proceeding the defrost operation when the condition is not defrost release condition.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
