Ijust wanted to take the time to say "thank you" for allowing me to represent you for the last six years as a member of the MPPOA Board. It has been a great experience and an honor.rnAs many of you remember I ran to be your President but came in second... My congratulations to Marty Earley on his victory. I know that Marty will serve the organization well.rnAt the convention, I was approached by numerous members of the MPPOA to run for Mike Walsh's open seat after he was elected to Vice-president and I was even nominated for that position, but I respectfully declined. Although I feel greatly complimented by this faith in my abilities and the "vision" that I laid out as I ran for President, I felt the membership spoke clearly. I also firmly believe that organizations are greatly served by new faces taking charge and bringing fresh ideas to the table. It is for these reasons I declined the nomination.
