The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, in their 2007 report, confirmed that the earth global surface temperature has increased in the 20th century and will continue to increase further in the 21st century. We can expect a wide range of impacts on our daily life. These changes, as widely reported, will cause a decrease in sea ice and a rise in sea levels due to warmer weather conditions. However, what is less widely recognized and reported, is that these changes can be expected to cause extreme weather conditions with significant changes in both high and low temperatures.
