Saint Paul Police Department Names Officer, Detective, And Civilian Of The Year

On April 7, 2010 the Saint Paul Police Department named its Officer, Detective and Civilian of the year.rnSergeant Englund was nominated for her outstanding work in our Homicide Unit and with reducing violent crimes in Saint Paul. Sergeant Englund's expertise with tracking and identifying illegal guns has madernher an expert within our department and also throughout the metro area. Many of the suspects of aggravated assault cases that were not able to be charged for some reason were charged with serious gun violations through her extraordinary efforts. As most of these charges carry a minimum of five years, many violent criminals have been removed from thernstreets.
