My Mini, known as Min, is a year 2000 standard non-Sports Pack Cooper that has recently had body restoration work by Classic and Custom Works of Penn Street, near Amersham, Bucks. Since the early 1970s I've owned eight Minis at various times, from Vans to Coopers, and I've transferred my registration plate from an old 850 saloon as it has my initials. The best cars by far were the carburettor Coopers. When you put your foot down they went like a rocket! My wife thinks I'm mad as I still turn corners on a sixpence but what other car is such fun to drive and is guaranteed to turn heads? The pics were taken by my friend Andrew Crossley.
