摘要

This volume contributes to a growing corpus of literature on climate change from the perspective of Christian theology. Michael Northcott has contributed some of the most significant works in this regard through A Moral Climate: The Ethics of Global Warming (Darton, Longman and Todd, 2007) and A Political Theology of Climate Change (Eerdmans, 2013), while Peter Scott has made significant contributions to anthropology and ecology, including Anti-human Theology: Nature, Technology and the Postnatural (scm, 2010). The contributors to the volume include some of the top scholars in the field of Christian ecotheology, namely (in the sequence of the essays) Timothy Gorringe (on the Trinity), Niels Henrik Gregersen (on Christology), Michael Northcott (on the Holy Spirit), Celia Deane-Drummond (on Creation), Rachel Muers (on Creatures), Peter Scott (on Humanity), Neil Messer (on Sin and salvation), Tamara Grdzelidze (on the Church) and Stefan Skrimshire (on Escha-tology). The essays are all excellent, well-referenced and contain a wealth of insights. The volume therefore makes a welcome contribution to current discourse.
