A good design inspires new designers. The Mini saloon inspired most of the world's car designers to reinvent the way they made production cars. The Mini enlightenment effect, however, brought everyone into the debate. Whether you wanted to redesign the paintwork or the engine, the wheel or tyre spec, the body type or the suspension, Mini is simple enough to make such things feasible and rewarding. Young people and old spend hours redesigning their favourite design classics. Mini, Beetle, Land Rover, Topolino. A few people get to realise their own Interpretation. "I have extended family in London, UK. When I would visit as a child I was always fascinated by all the Minis I would see. The shape of these cars really draws you in. I was young and really knew nothing about cars, except that I liked them. Nonetheless, my imagination had me dreaming up how I would modify a Mini to be a perfect little racing machine." Young Faisal Huda was thinking about a Mini with an engine behind the front seats, mid-engined, which means that he was already on the road to understanding something about fast car design.
