The recycling industry continued to be stable during 2015, as the finished goods industry continued to deal with a stagnant domestic economy. Export demand for most recyclables has also been lackluster in China. Recyclers were feeling the effects of not being able to move materials on the West Coast due to a slowdown at ports in Los Angeles and Long Beach, resulting from a contract stalemate.
