Unity in Berlin?

The glitterati of the world dairy industry, plus me, met in Berlin last month, to map out the road to future dairy profitability. In truth, although 52 countries were in attendance, it was the problems of the EU which dominated the debate, while the rest of the world looked on bemused. The backdrop to the meeting was militant action by European dairy farmers pouring milk down the drain as a protest over low milk prices. The claims of participation in this futile act were vastly exaggerated.
