Front-of-pack food labelling consultation launched

Consumers will find it easier to keep on track of what they eat and chose healthier foods, thanks to a UK-wide consultation launched by Health Secretary Andrew Lansley. UK Health Ministers want to see all food manufacturers and retailers use the same front-of-pack labelling system to show how much fat, salt and sugar, and how many calories are in their oroducts.
