Hensoldt has been commissioned by Airbus Helicopters to provide the EuroGrid Tactical Mission Computer (ETMC) for helicopters. The two-year further development contract includes a guarantee for the acquisition of 200 production units. The new ETMC generation, ETMC-NG, will be based on the computer which Hensoldt has delivered for a long time to Airbus Helicopters for integration into the NH90, TIGER and CH-53 helicopters. The two companies defined the follow-up model together, based on the experience gained during their many years of cooperation.
