Recent events around the world have once again focused attention on the deadly effects of chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) weapons and materials. To meet this re-emerging threat, armed forces and industry are now introducing newer detection equipment, as well as evaluating new concepts of operation that include greater connectivity between sensors and an increasing use of unmanned systems.
