A general class of estimators in successive sampling

This paper defines a general class of estimators using auxiliary information on both the occasions for estimating mean of the current occasion based on successive sampling on two occasions and discusses its properties. It is shown that in addition to Singh's (2005) estimator the proposed class of estimators generates a number of estimators. Numerical illustration is also given.
