China's scrap aluminium imports fell to their lowest in four months in July as higher prices of the light metal overseas discouraged scrap buying. Inbound shipments of scrap aluminium scrap dropped 7.4% month-on-month to 220,000 tonnes, down 17.2% year-on-year, according to preliminary customs data. Imports fell 10.3% to 1.48 million tonnes in the first seven months.
