Exxaro Resources has shortlisted six bidders for its 50.04% stake in Rosh Pinah zinc and lead mine in Namibia, and its Zincor refinery in South Africa. The shortlisted bidders started examiningthe data room and visitingthe Rosh Pinah and Zincor sites last week, MB understands. The process will run until the end of August, afterwhich interested parties are expected to submit bids. Exxaro expects to complete the divestment bythe end of theyear. Rosh Pinah produced 101,040 tonnes of zinc concentrate and 19,202 tonnes of lead concentrate in 2010. Zincor has capacity of 240,000 tpy of zinc concentrate.
