摘要

In order to estimate the continuity of sand movement between pocket beaches which are connected in a series, the grain size and the content of heavy minerals are analyzed. The possibility of longshore drift continuity is evaluated on these results. The results of grain size analysis depict that the study coasts as Laregely classified into four groups where a pair of specific adjacent coasts Appears to be in a common group from heavy mineral analysis indi- Cating three group classification instead. The continuity of longshore Sediment between those two specific coasts are examined by numeri- Cal calculation of nearshore currents on stormy wave climate, which Indicated no definite continuity of longshore transport.
