Influence of configuration of rotors diameters, rotor navel, rotor finish on yam properties

摘要

A factorial experimental design method was used in order to determine the most relevant parameters as well as the crossing or interaction effects to be considered in rotor spinning technology. This approach was applied in order to establish a statistical method to analyze the properties of cotton yarn with different rotor configurations. This method shows that the change in the rotor finish has no influence on the properties of the open end yarn. Moreover, rotor diameter and rotor navel have significant impact on yarn properties.
