Galvanostatically Deposited MnO_2 Thin Film and Their Electrochemical Properties

In the present investigation, MnO_2 thin films have been prepared by galvanostatic mode of electrodeposition. The effects of different current densities on structural, surface morphological, electrochemical and supercapacitive properties of MnO_2 thin films have been investigated. For the structural properties Raman spectroscopy has been used and morphological study was done using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) techniques. Electrochemical properties are studied by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). The electrochemical and supercapacitive properties of MnO_2 thin films have been studied in 1 M Na_2SO_4 electrolyte. In addition we have studied electrochemical properties such as solution resistance, charge transfer resistance and supercapacitive properties such as specific capacitance.
