High Thrust push for Bremen's new fireboat

Following successful trials, the new 23.9m Damen Fire Fighting/Police Patrol vessel Bremen 1 has been handed over to its new owner, the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen. It will be used jointly by police and fire departments in Bremen, Germany, so it has been painted in the two colours red and blue. Under emergency call out, the vessel can reach speeds of 40km/hr with its triple Caterpillar engines driving triple Ultrajet High Thrust Waterjets via ZF500 gearboxes.
