The airplane (2) has a system (4) for influencing yaw moment with thrust creation units (8) and an energy storage unit (12). The thrust creation units are coupled to the energy storage unit for transferring energy to the thrust creation units. A release device (16) is adapted for coupling the energy store unit with the thrust creation units for a preset period. The thrust creation units are arranged to provide independent pushing force with a thrust direction vector provided with spacing to a yaw axis (1) of an airplane main portion to reduce thrust asymmetry of the main portion. An independent claim is also included for a method for influencing yaw moment of an airplane.
