NWA WELCOMES NEW MCA WORKBOAT CODE

The UK's National Workboat Association is celebrating the launch of the second edition of the Maritime and Coastguard Agency's Workboat Code redefining working practices and standards. The new Code of Practice covers vessels loosely defined as below 200gt and 24m in length, a growing segment of the UK maritime market and while 600 such vessels are registered with NWA it estimates there are probably twice this number in operation.
